Dallas Stars Add Misha Donskov to Coaching Staff
Former Vegas Golden Knights Director of Hockey Operations Joins Stars
First Season as Assistant Coach in 2023-24
The Dallas Stars have announced the addition of Misha Donskov to their coaching staff for the 2023-24 season. Donskov joins the Stars after seven seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights, where he served as Director of Hockey Operations.
Donskov brings a wealth of experience to the Stars, having been a part of the Golden Knights' organization since its inception in 2017. He has played a key role in the team's success, helping them reach the Stanley Cup Finals in their inaugural season and becoming a consistent playoff contender.
In his new role with the Stars, Donskov will work alongside head coach Rick Bowness and assist in all aspects of coaching, including player development, game strategy, and scouting. The Stars are confident that Donskov's knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset to the team.
The Stars are currently preparing for the 2023-24 season, which begins on October 12. They are coming off a successful season in which they finished first in the NHL Central Division with a record of 52-21-9.
