In a dramatic turn of events, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has plunged significantly, wiping billions of dollars off the value of investments.
As of 12:23 PM EDT on June 3, 2023, the Dow Jones had dropped by over 900 points, or nearly 2.5%, and continued to fall.
This marks the largest one-day decline for the Dow Jones since October 2022. The index is now below 38,000 points, a level it hasn't been at since March 2023.
